XMAS Meeting

Ho, ho, ho,

What a blast the Christmas meeting was, even Mr. Clause himself turned up. We had lots of presents for the children’s hospital, which was fantastic!

Some of the members as well got dressed up for the occasion, which is usual for the Campbelltown Toastmasters Bunch. Everyone participated in the night and that caused the meeting to be one of the ones to remember. Also our President told the club that our club was the first to reach the Distinguished Club Program in district 70! – Well 9.5 out 10, all that is left is officer training, which is too easy. Everyone deserves a pat on the back like Cyril said.

We found out that not many people could call a bluff when it came to “Call My Bluff”. Doesn’t matter it put a lot of smiles of peoples faces, and that was the whole point of the night.

Our next meeting is on the 6th of January 2010. It is going to be a Speechathon, so if you have any speeches you want to get out of the way this is the night to do it. Should be great!
