Campbelltown Speech Craft Course
Speech Craft is a professional course in public speaking for individuals, which is held by Toastmasters. Campbelltown Toastmasters has successfully and professionally holds at least minimum one Speech Craft Course every year. The course has a proven record to take someone and lead them through to become a confident speaker. The course is aimed at people not wanting to join a Toastmasters Club, but still want the benefits and exposure of the proven Toastmaster experience.
What Can Speech Craft Achieve for me?
Speech craft is made up of six two and half hour courses. During these courses you will be taken on the Toastmaster experience and learn various skills such as:
-
Impromptu speaking
- Impromptu speaking is great for interviews and on the spot questions. It allows you to expand your mind and improves your ability to gather your thoughts and deliver in a split second.
-
Perform Prepared Speeches
- Performing a speech which is rehearsed is one of the most common types of public speaking. If you have to perform a presentation at work or do a best-mans speech at a weeding, this section of the course improves this skill. You will perform a series of speeches which you write and perform while being evaluated so you can be sure you are learning something, not only, about public speaking, but also about yourself
-
Meeting Skills
- Everyone through out their life will sit in or chair a meeting. Knowing the best way to chair, run, or participate in a meeting is valuable skill. The course gets you to actively take part in the meeting and the Toastmasters will help you carry out your role.
-
Leadership Skills
- Being able to give evaluated responses to others is a vital skill any manager needs to carry out. The course shows and allows you to acquire this skill so you can effectively evaluate another individual. A lot of individuals find this incredibly hard at frist to achieve, but once they acquire this skill they believe it is one of the best things they learn from the Speech Craft course.
